About Dale Wilson

Hope for the best: What a cool headline.
Hell that is what I do every time I push the damned shudder on a camera.
Oh yeah, I close my eyes every now and then, too, so the outcome will be a complete surprise. Interestingly I find that is when I get my best results … when I close my eyes and hope for the best at the same time. This alone takes some skill.
I really do despise writing this “what about me” stuff. It always sounds so damned self-patronizing and full of … well, you know.
Besides, does anyone really read it? If they do, then they surely must have too much free time on their hands.
The way I see it, there will be lots of time to write that kind of stuff when I am looking at daisy’s from the underside, although I much prefer to be photographing them from the topside. Or at least I think I do; I’ve never seen the underside.
But to the most important stuff: I like Paul Simon tunes, Guinness, Great Big Sea, Guinness, and sharing Guinness with friends. Did I mention I often drink alone, a lot?
In amongst all that, I try to find about 18 hours a day to work on various photography projects.
